Anyone familiar with this? After getting a copy of the records from an ER visit in February it seems my wife had one then. Also again in march and last month while we were on vacation. All three times she appears to pass out but very violently. Shaking, eyes close, her body gets very very tense.. We've had tests ran and these are NOT seizures. I thought it was at first but the ER doctors assured us it wasn't. The ER doctor didn't know exactly what it was at first but said the tests they ran would prove it wasn't a seizure.
Since these we have done some research and are trying to get back into the doctor (her normal / gen practice doc is retiring).
What we have read all says that within a years time after a TIA it is very common to have a full blown stroke. My wife is only 31 and has already had 1 back surgery that essentially ruined her life. She is in much worse pain now than before but she had to have the surgery to repair the structure of her back. Now were dealing with this on top of waiting to meet with her back surgeon again in July to see if there are any options to help her pain level besides pain meds (she says they all make her mind fuzzy and she doesn't function well on them), shots, teins units, nerve tests.. We've done it all.
I am typing this out drawing a blank honestly. I just felt like I needed to put some of this in writing or something I guess. I have posted about some of her medical issues in the past but don't really know where we need to go with this. If your the praying kind I would appreciate it if you could take a second and give one up for her.
