Trunk gun options for car

So I was able to throw some parts together after Black Friday and I think I've found my trunk gun(minus optic)...problem is the Vette doesn't really have a trunk...anyone ever built their own...metal frame wrapped in carpet with locks and bolted it down inside a car? Something long enough for an ar15...main issue is rear cargo area is fiberglass so mounting wouldn't be as easy as I was thinking and its an FRC so not much height to open the box as in a hatch...

I posted this on corvette forum and got a bunch of flack...guess not all car guys are gun guys:gggg:

Not sure if there's a way to mount to the "ceiling" of the "trunk?"
