you can make power with either. i will say bolt ons, cam swaps, and springs are alot easier on a ls1 than a modular motor. jmo. or were you going for the old skool 5.0? still as easy if not easier. you retiring the ole thunder chicken?

No, I will keep the tbird in the garage and daily the "new" car. I am tired of putting money in the s10 and want something else to drive. I can't get too crazy because I drive 50 miles a day and have hannah in her car seat too. (No super loud exhaust)

i hear ya. the same s10 from when i was at toyota? if so you guys got your money out of that thing. well either route just put a cut out on it. that way if you do drive it with hannah then its quiet and good to go, then its loud when you want it to be too. i gotta put some real exhaust on the regal too. its just 2feet of pipe and mufflers, i want to put something nice on it.thinkin 3" collectors are almost 4"

no comment on the tuning guy, out of Walterboro tho....charged him $1000 for a dyno tune and "claimed" numbers that Jay told me were numbers I throw the bullshit flag on. His car is practically like a, hate to say it cuz Jays cool, but a slow turbo car. It starts waking up around 4200ish which sucks for a s/c car. Not to mention he said its missin bad when it boost....I dunno, Jeff told him to get it retuned and hopefully he will soon.

Yep. Same s10. I just rebuilt the motor and had some work done on the heads. It runs good and the air is cold but I am getting to the point that it is time for something different. I like the tbird because I don't see any around. I really think there may be a reason for it though.:hide:

I was looking for a 350 to drop in when the motor went. I thought that I had a couple lined up but they fell through. I said F it and rebuilt the 2.8.

nice. just get a new body style extend cab. drop an ls1 in it keep all accessories, then you got a hauler that hauls ass. good mileage, little weight, plenty of room, throw slickers in the back

It is an 88 longbed tahoe. Has 165k on it with about 2 or so on the rebuilt motor. New a/c system and buckets inside. I just put tires on too.

I dont think it was Trent, but from what im told it was the first supercharged gt the guy tuned and the first time using "sniper" stuff......Jay supossedly went in thinking that they were gonna use his diablo and found out afterward that they did their own thing.
