Most of you probably know me, but for those who dont...
My name is Tim, and Im 25, Senior at Charleston Southern, and self employed doing home repair jobs (small scale stuff). I have an '87 Saleen Mustang that I bought in order to restore and make a toy out of and until its done, its my daily for the time being. Its Dark Metallic Grey with Grey interior. It came with 5 lug, 4 wheel disc brake swap, flofit seats, stiff lowering springs, koni adjustables, k member brace, front sway bar swap from saleen (along with the body stuff and other odds and ends). I just got some fresh paint on it, and installed Maximum Motorsports LCA's, Subframe connectors, caster/camber plates, and FRPP uca's. It has a full exhaust and under drive pullies, and still has the stock air box
My plan of attack for the car was a road race/autox car which could do alright (just for fun) at a drag strip. First step was paint, 2nd step was suspension, so after a panhard bar and upgraded sway bars, i'll be ready to start adding some horsepower b/c this thing is slow.
I've had an '01 saleen, '96 saleen s281, 98 cobra, '00 gt, '88 5.0, and 97 v6 in my time span of driving the last 9 or 10 yrs. Being addicted to mustangs is an understatement. Newho, glad to have another forum to tool around on, see ya around
here is a pic or 2 of my car (i know the lighting sucks)
