Daryl, Mitch, & Derek.
What's the good word from your dyno sessions today? I especially want to know how the Whipple tune was that was on the truck. Who guessed the closest on the hp/tq #'s? I hope everything went well, so that I will know how much harder I need to work to get one. Also, don't be letting Derek beat me, too.

I have to know how the numbers turned out myself..... I cant take the suspence any longer. I will feel like an ass if I talked all this $&@*( and Derrick goes out there and covers my truck in white smoke.

well guys the verdict is in. The whipple beast put down 513/580 on the mustang dyno. a/f at 11.5 and timing at 12 degrees on 17lbs of boost. My truck on the other hand is not to be exposed yet

Thats where my timing is also. These long stroke 5.4's can't take as much timing as the 4.6.

...also he's on a stock block.

Nice #'s!!! Why was the timing so low?

The rods in the Lightning motors are the weak link. Ford figured that out before they built the 03/04 Cobra motors  .

That is unreal. My guess was 500/580. That blower is amazing. How was the tune that you went up there with?

Cool beans, I was curious. That's makes the #'s all the nicer being it was on that little timing!!

we didn't even modify the tune. It was absolutely perfect! Rick was amazed that a stock motor could do that. JDM did something different with this tune. I think it is a mix of a JDM and a JJ(woodbine) tune.

my truck on a CONSERVATIVE street tune put down 301/360. Don't let these numbers fool you, it has alot left in it with timing. this is an entirely stock 135k motor with 42's and 7-8psi. This is just the surface of my power. The rest is yet to be unleashed

JJ has absolutley NOTHING to do with that tune, all JDM my man!

We didnt do anything different it was just based off a truck that we did here on the dyno. The other half of it was a good install by Mitch Sinclair.

Let see some 11 sec ET's Daryl!

my mistake. It's just all I heard was that everyone was amazed with JJ's tunes with their stock motor and ya'll went down to Orlando and saw the stock engine trucks putting down some tremendous power and it seemed like JDM might have tried a few tricks out that JJ has. But anyway it was a great tune and great numbers. And there aint no doubt about Mitch being a good installer/mechanic.
