I resigned today from my job in the boat industry. My wife is in real estate and both of us are in straight commission sales and the economy has affected the lifestyle that we had grown accustomed to. I am returning to the major appliance business and will be managing one of the stores for Wholesale Appliance Center. I previously ran a store for the owner 9 years ago.
1. I need to come up with a new username. Appliance related?
2. I am asking that if any of you or anyone you know is in need of appliances of any kind or brand, please let me know. The goal I was given by the owner is to do whatever it takes to take the business from the big box stores and improve sales and customer satisfaction.
Until I officially begin in a couple of weeks, I can be reached at 843-708-8208.
Thanks,
Larry

I'll be at the River's Avenue location, which is across from Carey Hilliard's, next to Ye Old Fashioned Ice Cream. If that location is not convenient for someone, call me and we'll figure something out and the best way that I can help.
JMD, I have thought about that one. :cheers
Thanks everyone.

Sorry to hear you had to make the career move Larry, but I wish you the best man! Since you'll be right there at Wholesale don't be a stranger man, I'm right next door everyday! When we finish getting our townhouse ready to rent and find our new house you'll be my first stop for new appliances.

Larry, i wish you the best of luck back at a profession you can make a dollar from the average guy, rather than the fat cats & the quick risers in the boat market.
I'm glad you did not want to return to auto sales. Remember those days at west ashley toyota. Sure seems like yesterday.
How about maytag man to replace whaler??
Again best of luck Bill

Good luck with the new job. I think I would go with something that had more to do with me than my job. What do you like to do besides cars.
