I saw where he was one of seven Eaton powered Terminators at the Terminator Shootout. Good job. Looks like he got a new best, too. He goes by 96StangGT on SVTPerformance.

Thanks guys!! I went an 11.004 @ 126 right off the trailer, my first time down the strip in well over a year. I wish I wouldn't have ruined my clutch so early in the day, I really had some high hopes! The car definetely would have done what I wanted had I been able to shift hard, and had more traction later in the day. They never re-prepped the track so later in the day the 60's were just going downhill. But all in all it was a great time, and it felt great to race again. The car went a 6.9 @ 102 on blower, then on the 3-4 shift I was facing the wall on the far side. That unfornutately was my last decent pass, the next pass I smoked my clutch. Later in the day after letting the clutch cool forever I turned the bottle on then decided to go for broke. Traction was impossible but I managed to slow shift it to a 10.7 @ 131.9, then backed it up with a 10.80 @ 133. I'm sure had I not had 60's in the 1.7x range and been able to row it as usual the car would have gone 10.5's @ 134+, but that's bench racing and we'll see what happens when my new clutch disk gets here.

Congrats!! I guess I have to take back all that smack about the "dyno queen" the other day lol. I think you are actually the dyno king right now, I will have to check tomorrow at the shop. Im glad you got everything worked out, to bad the clutch had to go.

Why? I was by far not the fastest Eaton car there.

Thanks man! I'm glad I got it figured out also. It was nice to be back behind the wheel at the track, I really missed it. I can't wait to get a new clutch in and let her rip before everybody closes up this year. The way the car ran before the clutch fried shows me it's got a ton of potential once I get the rust out of my system.

Why? Read what you just wrote.
Burnt up clutch and rusty driver. Not to mention full weight, stock halfshafts, still going 10.70's?? I would say you got a good one.

I hear ya, I was just hoping for much more based on how the car ran previously. I know there was much more in it.
