I have a friend that needs a built AOD for his 88/89ish Mustang. He puts down 325ish to the tires n/a and runs a 2800 converter. Any recommendations from the Blue Oval crowd. The transmission will need to have a least a 12 month warranty. He does not drive the car hard and is 100% street driven.

GERALD again. And you won't need a warranty from him.

I am guessing he is looking for someone other than Gerald, I have recommended him several times inthe past.

I was not sure he worked on AODs. I will call you tomorrow and get friend, you, and Gerald communicating.

I run his AOD in my car making 800 plus with nitrous, and it lives fine in the street or track. Geralds number is 509-3838, tell him Darryl said to call. And Harry is correct, he builds any kind of trans from Honda 5 speeds, to GM overdrives, to Ford AOD's.....:bigthumb:

I found out he has already ordered a trans. I am not going to say where, but I expect he will be looking again sometime in the not so distant future.
