ARP says 90ft/lb I took mine to 115 ft/lb. Good luck with the motor pulls, I hope the heads are ok. Can't help but feel shitty about it, pullin the motor to (hopefully) fix a head gasket sucks but I guess thats the price we pay for using studs.

See if Felpro makes an MLS head gasket for the 5.4 in those trucks, they are very hard to blow out..

They do, a 4 layer MLS (its Blue) I used them in my motor build. I am not convinced gasket type is the problem tho....... Another guy on another forum down in Florida lifted his too this weekend.

I know one thing, they sucessfully have me scared $H*%less.

I can get some Air Force ratchet straps to run around yalls motors. Just tighten the piss out of it so the heads cant go anywhere. :finger:
