Downtown Manhattan you can see between the two black looking buildings (on the right of the pic) off in the distance were the WTC buildings used to be.

Unfortunately this is the closest pic I could get of the Statue of Liberty because of the inclement weather.

Monday afternoon we went and saw the Rockettes Christmas special. Im not much into shows but this one was really good.

Monday night we went to the Ed Sullivan theater and watched David Letterman.

Over all it was a good trip although I wouldn't recommend going in the winter time or near Christmas. One morning I woke up and it was 13* and all the shops were packed due to Christmas. This place is an eaters paradise there are SO MANY unique and interesting resurants in this city its unreal. Also the public transportation system they have is really cool. You can just walk out the door hail a cab and off you go. No need to own or maintain a car in this city. My only regrets was going with my in laws but I wont go into that.

Nice Pics. Looks like you had a good time. I've been to Times Square for New Years. Ridiculously cold and a sea of people. How was it seeing Letterman Live?

Letterman live was awsome. Its just like seeing it on tv but you get to be a participant. It was really neat to see how they made it all work.

Nice Pic's! Did you have fun. NYC has some of the best Restaurants and Deli's I have ever eaten at. Did you get a chance to go to Madison Square Gardens?

I had a great time an I give a big +1 on the food. Unfortunately I wasnt able to venture over to MSG but i did pass by it. Grand Central was pretty cool though although the subway system was confusing as hell.

Looks like a great trip...I've wanted to go visit NYC for the longest time. I've never been north of DC or west of Nashville, but i've been to England lol

I've kind of always wanted to spend xmas there w/ the snow and then be there for a ball drop...however i'd prolly get super annoyed with all the people. Maybe one day when I have more money lol. Hope you had a good time!
