My truck has less miles on it. I would love to get that much for it.

I was thinking it was a bit much myself.

I agree with Silver Dollar. Over 2k more than RETAIL for it in EXCELLENT condition. If I was going to buy it I would offer around 11-12 since we know they didn't pay for than 13 for it. Probably alot less.

Where are you getting your estimates for retail, Jr.?
KBB has it as : Retail- 20.3K.. Private party as 17.8K and Trade-in is 14.9K and for an '04 L with 60K on it.
NADA has it at 18.5K for retail and 15.8K for Trade-in (no private party estimate).
I don't think that's a bad price at all. The miles could be a little bit lower, but it's not like they are asking 18-20K for an older lightning with 100K+ miles.
If 14K is the going price for an '04 Lightning..then what is a '99-'00 L going for? I doubt the owners are selling for much under 10K unless it has ridiculous mileage.

No man, that wouldn't be a good price for a 00. But its a steal for that truck, I looked at it its clean and still has the stock caged lower pulley on it. I talked to the one of the guys up there and in 5 min's I had him down another 1000$.

Trading Up?
And blow it up hell no, just amazed by the price and condition. You dont see that around here and lightnings at dealerships are rare. (Other than the highway robery ones)

While I was in Norfolk, VA over the summer I swear I saw about 3 different lightnings at dealerships up there. If I hadn't bought mine a month before I went up there I might have come home with one of them.
