I am posting this here to help spread the word. If you guys don't mind please cross post this on all the websites you can think of. Help with water search and rescue needed.
Two weeks ago 3 high school seniors in my home town were duck hunting as they had done many times before. All four students were very experienced hunters, experienced boaters, etc.
As they were hunting the small boat they were in started taking on water. The four boys put their live vests on and took a vote. They voted on who was the strongest swimmer, Tyler Heathcott was nominated as the strongest swimmer and he began swimming to shore. He made it to shore while the other boys tried to stay afloat in the very cold water.
It has been determined that the three remaining boys had indeed drowned. One of the boys bodies, Trevor Williams has been recovered. The bodies of the two other students Jacob Scott and McKenzie Stanley are still missing.
Here is where the community is asking for help. There is not a great deal of experience with under water search and rescue in our area. Thankfully there has not been a great deal of accidents that needed this type of service, man power or equipment in the past. Considering the vast scale of boaters, hunters and outdoorsman that use the areas of KY and Barkley Lakes in KY and TN it really is a miracle that no more accidents have happened.
This is directly from the website outlining the need for assistance

It has been over a week since the four boys, Jacob Scott, McKenzie Stanley, Trevor Williams, and Tyler Heathcott went duck hunting. While on the lake the boat they were in capsized and a fisherman was able to rescue Tyler Heathcott that day. Since that time numerous amounts of man hours and resources have been dedicated to searching for the three other teens. To date, only one boy, Trevor Williams, has been recovered. The search continues for both Jacob Scott and McKenzie Stanley.
This site has been created as a single location for the family members to make updates as needed to let the community know the current status of the search, the condition that Tyler Heathcott is in and a place to share stories and pictures. If you have any stories or pictures of these loved ones, please send a message through the Contact Us page and we will review them.
Please take a moment to sign the guestbook while you are visiting the website. Your comments and support are very much appreciated.
Currently, the families are asking for donations to be made to the following groups:
