What is a good external fuel pump that everyone is running for powers between 750-1000 hp? Marcus? Darryl? Jeff(s)? Lightning guys?

I know of aeromotive, magnafuel etc. But main thing is what are you running currently. I am not interested for an in tank fuel pump as stock tank won't be used.

Another thing, with a separate fuel cell for nitrous i.e. 3 gallon. What is a good fuel pump to use for it as well? I am sure it doesn't need to flow the same amount as the one from the main tank.

Remember this is all being used on a carb setup.
I am just stumped on the fuel pump issues right now

I am using a Holley Black for my Carb set up. It is biggest for carb set up. Price is around a 129.00

I'm runing walbro 255. Part # GSL-392.

It's the external version of the in-tank 255. I think Paul (1iron) runs the in-tank version, and has run some great ETs with it.

Morey I just looked up your pump and nice pump. But its max hp is 750.

Mike, seems to me yours is for efi and can't really find power information on it.

Aeromotive A1000. Not currently running one on this car. Have had great luck with it in the past. This car just doesnt need it yet. When I get to that point.. it will get twin A-1000's.

The A2000 is over kill for you Jr get the A1000 . The A1000 is good for 1100 hp on carb set ups .

I have a holley blue for my nitrous enrichment tank. Its sitting by my desk at work so I don't know if it worth a crap.

I second the walbro gsl 392. I run one right next to my sump and another inline. Also all of the big HP lightning guys run 2 walbro 255's intank.

i run a mallory 140 with a return style regulator. i am setting up my nitrous system with a small cell up front and a holley blue.

for what its worth, if you notice, most fuel filters wont flow the gph that those expensive pumps will so in my humble opinion, i dont think most cars really need those huge pumps, obivously if running a boost reference blow thru carb then thats a different story

So if motor makes say close to 900 hp on motor(rear wheel) and I run a separate fuel system for nitrous and spray two kits on it hypothetically putting it over 1100 hp total. It still will be fine as the fuel for the nitrous is being provided by its own pump?

I just want to make sure the a1000 would be what I need. I of course don't want to have to buy something bigger later on, or even buy something right now that is too much and wont be needed.

I have considered the holley blue for the nitrous fuel itself, but wasn't really sure if that is what everyone uses.

THIS IS NOT ON THE MOTOR THAT IS IN THE TRUCK NOW. This is for a setup that we are building/putting together.
