Few updates on life guys..

Well it's been a while since I posted so thought I would drop a few lines. I'm hoping I have about 7 months left before I head back to Charleston but could be another year and a half. This base in South Texas is closing and we are moving to San Diego, California in about 2 weeks. Gonna take 45 days to get there and we are hitting 6 killer ports in route.

For those who knew I had white trash living in my house..they are gone..FINALLY. Maybe now I can get someone in there that will cut the grass and actually pay the rent...and if I'm lucky..ON TIME.

My 04 Cobra is in the shop getting a motor rebuild. She is getting bored out, AR one piece header/mid pipe with high flows, boostapump, Spec3+ with steel flywheel, 3 guages, powder coated valve covers and a tune. Should hit 600rwhp easy.

I just bought a new daily driver. I bought a dark shadow gray Mach1 with 15,300 miles on the clock for 14,000 in mint condition. Already bought some rims and tires for her last night. Got some 18" deep dish black FR500's with BF Goodrich KDW2 tires. Pretty much just doing stereo, tint, exhaust, rims, rotors and thats it. I have to keep in mind she is my daily and not to mod her out like I did my GT. Here is a pic the previous owner sent me and those rims are not included in the deal cause I didn't want them.

The Saleen...well...when I was in the Middle East I bought this car from at the time a highly rated performance shop in San Antonio. I asked around and the guy checked out with all my friends. Well...after he got his money for the car and for the paint job and lots of mods he started blowing smoke up my ass. No title or receipts or anything. So I told him I wanted my money back and he said no and dropped off the face of the Earth. Now..the police are involved and I hope to bury this guy under the jail. Come to find out he has done this to numerous people at the last moment and then close up shop. So at this point I have no idea if I will see my 20,000 again. There is much more of the story here.-Shane

LOL..thanks for the sympathy. I hope the courts take care of it cause he doesnt want me to get ahold of him. Neither do I cause I'm not smart enough to get away with it..lol

Maybe additional customers on the lonestar forums will come forward and you guys can file a suit together?

File a Better Business Bureau complaint yet?
Is your lawyer going to get that guys business license revoked?

Happen to know anyone who "knows" that guy and where he lives or hangs out?

Does that guy belong to any professional institutions? Usually they post a sticker or decal on the main door or a sign around the business area. Is he an ASE certified mechanic or belong to a community organization such as a Rotary club? Those professional institutions advertise requirements to maintain membership in good standing. Sending complaints to those places may be an avenue of placing pressure on that guy.

Did you file a police report? The guy committed fraud, right?

The guy is out of business. His shop was locked due to failure to pay rent. He got a divorce and no ones really knows where he is. House was sold and there are about 15 people looking for him. Police report is filed, Navy lawyer = shit and shortly there should be a warrant for his arrest. -Shane

Saleens are a PITA to own...either you get hosed by a seller, someone doing work, or Saleen themselves does something to piss you off lol
