K & N top cover air filter

Has anyone had any experience with the K&N top air cleaner cover like i have.

Why i ask, a guy on ford tech says it causes turbulance & a loss of power.

Any thoughts or comments?????? Bill

I did it but I think its not worth the time, go with a real CAI.

My bad we talked about his L at the dyno day so I just assumed he was talking about it.

I have the K+N panel filter in the stock airbox on RP #3 and the K+N conical with CAI on RP #2 ... I would have to say that I raise the bullsheet flag on that guy saying it causes turbulence ...
