another option is Roberts Automotive.

Also don't believe everything you read on the Internet. especially forums like this, get more than one opinion.

Some people may steer you in the wrong direction. :hide:

Like I said don't believe everything. You might want to call some of these shops and see what they have to say.

Let us know what Roberts and Amazon have to say, so we can give you more opionions. :mrgreen:

hey my buddy had a "certain local shop" build his 2v....$9000 later, mind you this is N/A still!, he had a turtle of a motor. Forged, yet only made 12 more hp than his stocker.......

motor had like 5000 miles on it and it went boom. The kid had it dynoed, and thats the only time he got to actually get into it.

heads=horsepower
cubic inches=torque

you can build 2 engines different sizes with the same heads and the bigger engine may not make any more power but will make it at a lower rpm.

o, forgot to mention, built meaning heads, cams, bored, aluminum block, forged.

i highly recommend Modular Powerhouse as well- but you could just skip the middle man and call ProLine. That's who builds the motors for Modular Powerhouse.

fast? probably....stroked? not so much. I think your little birdies fell too far from the nest and hit the ground a little hard.
