How would it help Ford... it was Chrysler dealerships. no one 's been buying Chrysler corp vehicles since they stopped getting help from Mitshubshi. Mercedes didn't even help the product either in the last merger. I don't see it effecting Ford sales.

The only way it will help Ford is if people lose confidence in Chrysler's (and soon-GM's) products. Problem is, noone is spending any money on new cars. This could actually hurt Ford in the long run. Suppliers losing 33% of their business is not good for anyone.

It is BS that they are shutting down Hoover, which is one of the oldest stores on Savannah Hwy, and giving the Chrysler line to Rick Hendrick.

i still cant get over seeing an empty lot where Johnny's was in Moncks Corner. this will be unbelievable with all these dealerships closing. I would think that Ford will follow the trend also

You may be right, Ray. Ford has been closing stores, slowly, for the last couple of years. GM and Chrysler are only making news, because they are doing it crazy fast. If things don't improve soon, Ford may have no choice but to follow suit. At least they have a bit more cash to go through before the proverbial shit hits the fan.

Thank god strom altman is going to be closed. The truck I was looking at to get this past weekend was $6990. Today I saw that vehicle for sale at $7990. WTF?

Marathon worked with us very very well. :D But that was only because all the planets aligned right for us. Got more money out of the fuckus then we ever would have gotten anywhere else. Phew, thank good ness.

nope i just got off the phone with robert we gotta put a transmission in a mustang in the AM and then we are starting to trace wires. so ill give you a call n let you know how it is. if it take more then 3 hours to find the problem ima have a race car. lol. cut all the wires n start over
