well, we just realized a whole bunch of my emails went to his junk mail so things got screwed up.
on the back he has a tree and Doin Big Things... in the same carolina horsepower font. he missed this thread but has something to work with. now he has the get in where you fit in. but what do you guys think?
gost out the tree and lay the words over the tree. make the saying bigger or keep it the way it is? suggestions. i suggested taking final roundout of the tree

if the front is too small it might not be to clear on a t shirt. i like the front

If you make the logo 4" wide, or no wider than a pocket, you should still be able to read it. he should be using a vectorized image that is scalable. If he's trying to use a jpg or bitmap I can supply him with the scalable image to keep it clear.
Also the tree on the back, I just don't know. maybe a little much concidering the size of the tree to be on my back would be almost life size.

I like the front. This is a "Carolina Horsepower" shirt, so I say leave it big.
I like the idea of ghosting out the tree on the back and putting the writing over the top. Looks sorda cheesy now to me.
If it were me; off to the left.
If you have trouble with the current font, drop the logo all together, and just use a font that works in a smaller format.
up to you guys though.

I like the front too. i think it will be to much goin on trying to shrink it but thats my opinion. and we are not changing Fonts. thats like redesigning the whole site

the big image on the front just looks like a kids shirt IMO. I would like to see the ghost imagery too. I think it would look good.

what file type is he using for the site logo? he's only going to have a problem scaling to 4" wide if he is not using a vectorized file. if he's using a bitmap or jpeg he's going to have trouble.
I've supplied shirt companies with vectorized files for screen printing for years. I've had text 1/8" show up clear when its done right. I even have the text file too if he would like it or he can download it himself from the internet. A 4" wide logo being screen printed should not be a challenge for him.
Do not use a jpeg or bitmap. Not even a photoshop pic either. You just can't take the file from the top of the forum and expect a good image for the shirt.

The very reason why I asked where the logo file came from and what type is being used.
remember "garbage in = garbage out". A good clean useable file for graphics is not what is used for websites. Websites can use jpg, bmp and gif files.
I had to generate the file to be able to be used for the site stickers. So I know whatever file was given to the shirt guy isn't really a quality file that will give the best results. I have the ONLY vectorized file of the site logo.
A vectorized file is a graphics file that all colors are separate and can be scaled without distoring the image. It's not pixelized (a bunch of dots) like a jpg or bmp. Anyone who does signs or stickers knows what I'm talking about.
Anyone know what file is being used for the shirts? I'm curious because we may end up with a foggy out of focus logo.

Get with Illusions and have illusions send the .eps file format to the shirt guy so he will not have to spend all the time cleaning up the carolina Horsepower logo. Will help with design cost.

hell, I like just the carolina hp logo front/center, but not overly big...with nothing on the back. Don't know where the "get in where you fit in" slogan came from...kind of seems corny to me not knowing, but i havent been out to a track in a long long time..so maybe im missing something. Just my 2 cents

Or just a GET IN WHERE YOU FIT IN on the front maybe across the chest and the CHP logo on the back with the website addy.
BTW Ray, do you have the guy who is designing the shirts email address so we can send the correct file for him to do instead of going off a gif. That way it will be already cleaned up.
Finally wore my shirt today, and I realized I never thanked you Ray.
Thanks for the shirts Ray.
...and thanks to everyone who bought one for your support of the site.
