I have heard that the 1997 f150 V-6 springs are the ones you're after. They may be the same part #.

Compare them side by side with a stock L front spring. Mike may still have his. Heck I may have mine.

Oh there different trust me...... I just think that they are a different spring rate than the 97's.
No F150 spring compares to a Lightning front spring, the lightning front spring was a different part than all of them.

Randy,
I checked with the parts guy; and, unfortunately, I have no way to tell if those springs are the same or not. You see, the way that the parts catalog is set up, he cannot look up and compare springs without having the spring code off of the door tag. If you can get that, I can help you out.

Yeah, im slowly finding out the same thing. I'm gonna have to find a 1997 v6 f150 and pull the springs out so I know they are the correct ones.

Where do you find the spring code. I have a friend that owns a 97 v6 f150 I could have him check the number for you

check f150forums.com for the springs you need. I am sure there are several people with the stock springs for sale once they lower or lift there trucks.

Not really sure. Maybe the L, if the spring code is in that number at all. Sam, in parts, just typed in the number you gave us and it came up with that service part. I guess we will check into it some more.
