Here in Texas we have inspections and emissions in some counties. The street car debate doesnt come up very here like in SC with no inspections. If you have a street car here then it will have an inspection sticker on it at the least. Yes there are still some people who can get around the inspection and still have a sticker on a racecar but not many, fines are to high when caught. My camaro that I had in SC will NOT pass TX inspections, illegal tint, tail lights, no cats, no emissions, no parking brake. I cant get my registered here because of all those. So I can call it a street car but I cant drive it on the street, lol.

I had to pull a favor just to get my dually to pass inspection because of my black tail lights. They are a little strick here.

Man! I hope they don't bring inspections back to S.C. A brand new drag radial will fail!!

i bet in TX it doesn't matter if it has A/C. Here in the Lowcountry to some we have to have A/C to be a streetcar. so in some case's it tougher here. lol

question my RX-7 doesn't have A/C. so is it by yalls definition a race car even though it only runs a 10.5 1/8(balls slow i know),and its a daily driver. LOL!

I'm sure the Carolina Horsepower Street/Race Car Sanctioning Group would call that a Race Car. You've had it at the track.
