Me too. I don't have any problems seeing someone get shot or blown up (thanks to American style movies and TV shows) but I'm not comfortable watching bones being broken or extremities being mechanically mangled.
From the title, I am guessing the dude has his motorcycle on a stand, in gear, and is wiping the chain with a lubed rag....then his hand hits "crunch time"?

Well..knowing it was pictures of the aftermath..I took a look. I figured it would be worse...but damn...that's pretty crazy. As dumb as he was, you got to give him credit for sucking up his pride and posting it as a warning for others.
That's why we get safety notices from the Squadron in our emails about wearing jewely on the flightline. They show the graphic photos of de-gloving (skin ripped off fingers). The chance of a ring/watch catching on something and your body weight ripping skin/breakin bone is slim...but it happens..it happens every year.
Graphic photos hit home better than any other method (besides enduring the accident first hand).

Where I come from, we call that "natural selection"!
Or, you can take a look from another angle and chalk it up to evolution. Typically, only the strong AND smart of a species make it into the next generation.
