Hey Slowgreen73, I heard you'd be a good match for my lil small block Camaro. I only got shitty street tires, not even drag radials, but I'm interested in a run anyways. Let me know. Ace

First off, welcome to the forum. Second off, please pay attention to where you post, this is the grudge racing section and a post in here means you have a wad of money you are willing to put up to race.

Your alternative is the budget grudge racing section. I highly advise you to post there if you dont intend on putting a nice knot of cash up on the race. Capt buttercup, AKA SIXPACKGUT has put a limit on the ammount of money that can be bet in that section, and I believe it to be 50$.

Personally, I think you should call out someone in your league (although I don't know who that would be) If I was Slowgreen73, I wouldn't waste my time or gas running you. He could put wooden tires on his car and outrun you with a brick under his gas pedal and 3 sparkplugs missing.

BTW The car you called out is at around 1min 50 second area in this video.

My bad man. I was told that car was genuinely slow like me, but I don't know anything about him or the car. And I guess I missed the budget section, thought this was the only place to put up stuff like this. A budget area is a good idea though. I'll go try that out. Thanks for gettin me straight. I'm still new to the grudge-race-forum idea, used to talkin face to face instead. Thanks, Ace

How bout a cam only LS1 car on a 18" radial street tire??

73camaro

Saw the video and yeah, that's definitely out of my league. I'm just tryin to run somebody that's extremely tire limited like me. 18 inches dont quite do that.

18" is the diameter of the rim, not the contact patch.....

Yea ill run you with either one of my camaros you pick. But I'm not gonna run for free!

Do you go to the track often? We can try something with my 94 z28. 355ci LT1 with a cam. Let me know, I prefer to keep it off the street.

Ok, I though he was talkin about some steamroller street tires like you'd see on a t-bucket. Give me a good look over the LS1 car and answer me a few questions on it and we might have ourselves somethin.

Slowgreen73, somebody recommended your car as a good match and I see now that I'm way less than what you got. The South Carolina grudge race scene is some serious shit, I had no idea. I'm impressed.

Sounds alright. Bein as I'm new to the whole SC scene and seeing who's what, how's $100 sound? Whatever questions you ask about the car, I'll answer, long as I get to know the same thing about the LS1.

Those bars are pretty sweet. I'm gonna be at Dorchester just to watch tonight, scope out the track as a whole for the first time. Feel like meeting and talkin it over there?

Woah, I want in on some of this, Mat if you don't take it I will.

I have a Big Heavy Pickup truck on street tires all the way around sittin on leaf springs with a towing package.

I'll go for 100$ ASAP lets lock something in and get it done.

I don't care whats done to your car, I just have 100$ burning a hole in my pocket I'm ready to give to you.

Hey now, I'm just there to look tonight. Just enjoyin myself, no losing money to a "Big Heavy Pickup" tonight. From how people talk, the Lightnings down here are just as bad as the stock-idling 6500lb, 100psi, 11.0 diesels back home.

I hadn't planned on going due to an oyster roast... I suppose I can make my way up there afterwards. Are you going to be there late or what? If not this weekend we can do it next for sure.

The Barz really make my car fast... lol

I'll be there until probably 11, need sleep for work Monday. Oh and a note for everyone - you can see my car parked in the Bosch parking lot every Monday thru Friday. Like I said, daily as a stock Prius.

Mine is the slowest F150 with Lightning badges on the site and nowhere neear as fast as a stock idle 100psi diesel. 11.0 in the 1/8 mile is riding out, I can't hang with that....

I'm sure. But if they answer the questions I ask, in a straight manner, then I can judge from there and we'll see about a run.

...And that's what the 10 second diesels tell ya. And 1/4 mile, not the eighth. Ever seen a 4 door diesel run a 6.5 eighth? Or a 1.5 60-foot?

Wow! thats even faster if its the 1/4, you must be way out of my league. I'll still take that race for 100$ though.

Calm down, no need to get hostile and sarcastic. I'm not 5. I'm not out to make you mad or get picked on. You've run 7.60's and I'm nowhere near that. I wanna have a good race, not get gapped by a mile.

7.60 is slow, and that was on my good stock motor, it blew up, I have a el-chepo junk motor now, I can't get there no more.

Randy, if you didnt need race gas, methanol, nirous and whatever else that makes a ford go fast you dont need to run for alot of money.

and I really dont think i have ever said a word about how much to race for so i dont know where thats comming from

Get it right, the methanol is to take the place of the race gas, the nitrous is to make up for a wimpy blower, and the wimpy blower is to make up for the wimpy motor.

and I really dont think i have ever said a word about how much to race for so i dont know where thats comming from
