alot has to do with the tires. when you run the skinnies the tire usually aint made to hold the weight of a full weight car and it does feel a little woozy but just as long as you dont road course race it then you will live

Yep. As previously stated be careful taking turns quick with skinnies.

Randy has pics of a guy that had a fox body IIRC that had skinnies on and was making runs around the oval track at Mustang Week. lol

A foxbody on skinnies you say? I have to see pics of this so called fox with skinnies. Rare breed. I drove through gc, all over 526, up and down rivers ave and through every other shitty street in the lowcountry on draglites with no problems. GET GOOD TIRES

Like they've said, you can but it's not fun or the safest setup.

15x4's are going to be safer than the 15x3's
Run a radial tire vs. a bias ply
Keep tire pressures up to stiffen the sidewall to prevent sidewall flexion
Be careful to never jam/slam the brakes, even ABS will not prevent turning them into ski's
AVOID potholes!

I ran them for 7yrs on my heavy iron blocked LT1 Camaro. Drove 400 miles up and down I-95, local driving, raining, it didnt matter. You just have to drive smart and know that you have to be careful on on-ramps.

I also did it on my LS1 Formula which was 170lbs lighter on the front than my LT car and it was much more nimble and better on the tires.
