You can build your own Stage 3 alot cheaper than that. Start with your own 04+ F150 5.4 3V, add Roush blower kit (roughly 7k) and suspension (don't know the price at the moment); and you have your own Stage 3. Especially good if you are not a big fan of the Roush body kit or wheels.

Hey Ka-Chow I just ordered a Custom Saleen supercharger kit Through JDM It even comes with there tune and they will bump the boost up to 9 psi. I'm putting it on a 4x4 4 door King Ranch. The cost is about 7500.00 but they don't just flash the ECM they use a SCT tuner. This truck according to Jim Jr. will have Approx. 450 RWHP and 505 torque. The best part it doesn't void the Factory Warrenty, Also the Saleen Supercharger is a larger unit so there is more good air. We pick the kit up with the Motors soon will post how it turns out. Jim sent me the Saleen truck they have to test and develop. The truck weighed in at 6000 lbs and ran 13.2 at 104 on stock tires.

Thanks Lurch, Are you going with bigger injectors and fuel pumps as well for the sleeper or just the kit? Please let me know how that works out for you. When are you expecting to get it? I was on the ford truck forum and there was a guy that did the swap to the built longblock with a whipple and is running 7.4's with his super crew but still up there in price again. I am curious to see what yours will run with the charger set up.

Mitch,
I would reccommend double checking the warranty validity of that kit. The Saleen parts are fine, since-like Roush-they back their parts 3/36 just like Ford. One to take into consideration, though, is that these setups are warrantied when using the Saleen/Roush tuned PCM, and that Saleen and Roush pay when their parts break Ford's stuff. Ford tends to get really "upset" when the software has been modified. The reason that Saleen and Roush can do this, is because they have worked with Ford directly to develop their software package. Understanding that you can extract more power from any given combination with a custom tune, there is a reason that Ford, Roush and Saleen tune their stuff on the rich side-it keeps the parts together better. (Allows for crappy fuel and less than favorable operating conditions-not everyone understands vehicles the way those on this board do.)
If JDM will back the tune-cool. I just wanted to put a friendly warning out there. You may also want to check with the Palmetto Ford guys to see if they will sign off on your install as Jones will do with a Roush install. I don't know if we, at Jones, would be able to sign off on that since we are not a Saleen dealer. Just thought you would want to check. I''d hate to see you or Tommy have any problems with what is shaping up to be a bad-ass truck.
