as long as an engine doesnt go into detonation or fill ring lands with too much fuel, i'm sure it is possible. but how much time, tuning and experience was involved to get to that point.

I don't see how 550whp 302 cars are cracking the blocks, and his is holding 815... And the internals are lasting too... That's a 1 in a BILLION block/internal combo

I had a stock shortblock windsor that ran 5.81 on a plate.

Damn
You, sir, have given me a reason to throw more than a 150 at my 302

He said WINDSOR.
He said WINDSOR.
SO! A 302 is part of the Windsor family.

I must say bullshit on part of that. I can believe a stock block running 5.80's in the 1/8th mile, but 800plus rwhp on a stock block, no way, split city. Maybe on an old mexican 302 block, not a newer roller block..

But its not a windsor.

But its not a windsor.
I didn't know "Windsor" was reserved for non-302's, but then again I'm new to the whole Fordthing so I'll shut my Newb mouth

I see that is a turbo engine in this build. Turbo mills are by far easier on a bottom end than a supercharged or nitrous mill.
I would expect to see at least 700 safe crank hp on a stock bottom end with a turbo, but what these guys have done is incredible.
I would like to know what crankshaft damper is on this engine. Maybe they have a belt drive instead of a cam chain????? Possibly, the control of high frequency harmonics might have a contribution to keeping this mill alive.
Centrifugal force on the rotating assembly goes up with the square of the speed. Double the rpm, and you quadruple the centrifugal force. So in the interest of keeping a stock bottom end alive, I say definitely keep rpms below 6k and throw some boost at it. I would like to know how many RPM are these guys are spinning this engine to?????
