thats a cool design but the water running through it will have to work extra hard due to heat soak i think

3 Grand sounds almost reasonable. Looks like a TON of hours went into fabbing that thing.

I guess some people just have it like that.

i assume its using a hear exchanger as well as the built in intercooler..

is it air/water or air/air?
any provisions for a methonal setup?

the price is reasonable for what you are getting.. sheetmetal manifold intercooler.
its a ton of r@d put into it.. looks like the cobra manifold is seen this week.
legit parts:)

We'll have to split it between everyone on here. I'll take the third weekend of every month

thats what i'm thinking. would make a great addition to an f1 where space for tubing is limited. pretty sick either way

the intake is to eliminate an air/air with a water/air for street driving or a ice box for drag racing. Lane said he will have a website shorty and i will post it for those interested

That would be an aftercooler.

Just sayin....

Kinda hard to tell but there looks to be a lot of restriction there. Could be the way the pic was taken.

with boost it really doesnt matter, the air is going in there if it likes it or not

i think its bc of the way the picture was taken. it looks like it is about 4in tall in the closest area when it swoops up

id like to see it without the top hat on it personally. it looks like bar/fin core..
its only dropping intake temps so much regardless...

lets say u started with a 60deg intake temp... id assume with this setup and a ice/water/exchanger system.. even under higher loads(short burts) id assume ideal intake temps would be in the low 100/120deg... ideally it would be in the 70/80 at the track.

you would ice the hat down in the pits.. and do a pre ice circulation in stagingl anes.. just before u roll into the box.. ur pump the rest and apply the rest of the ice.. with that in mind you would be mid 90deg temps..

if you are running a remote mount/rear mount the temps will be lower if it is a front mount turbo temps will be roughly the same..

i would personally run a honda shorty aluminum raditor
http://www.full-race.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=439&products_id=481

with a meziere water/fluid pump

and some type of a ice /water chest with like an-12 lines
