Well it's time for me to repaint the front end of the car. There are just tons of rock chips in the incredible factory Ford paint job and they are driving me nuts. Where is a really good paint shop? I know Rod is painting again and I might just go back to him, but I might try somewhere new. I'm looking for somebody that really is good, not too concerned with price as long as it's reasonable. But I also don't want to wait a few months to get my car back either. Any ideas fella's?

Black sucks. Everything shows.

But....
Whoever did Daryl's truck did an excellent job. I bet it was pretty expensive though.

I might be looking to get mine painted also. Might wait for a few more rock chips before I do it though. Hopefully just the front end won't be too expensive.

Yeah I know but being as I don't drive it that often anymore and it stays under a car cover most of the time it should stay pretty good looking now.

Has anyone used Jamison's Corvette? I've seen some good looking paint jobs come out of there, and they are right down the street from the house.

They are excellent. That would be a great (not cheap) choice.

ALot of the vette guys use this guy Al Borino, who owns "borino custom paint and body" or something along those lines. I've seen his work...he is very very very good, and very expensive. For what your wanting, Rodney would be fine, if you want his number then I can give it to you, just gimme a ring. However that Borino guy is the shit, atleast the work I saw

I'm wanting to really get it done right. I like using Rod to do some touch up stuff and small things, but I'm actually wanting to get the bumper/hood/and down the fenders painted. I'd like it to look just as good, if not better than the factory job......just hopefully be a little thicker!!!

Well not sure if Jamison is going to work as the lady at the front desk said they only do corvettes but she would have them call me....

Norton and Richardson do good paint jobs. They are on the high side. They quoted me 4500.00 for painting my truck. That is with no body work!

I have a friend at Charlestowne Paint & Body that painted the racing stripes down the WIFE's screamin yellow GT. He did an excellent job!! everything was cleared back over, cannot feel the lines $500.00. Oh did I mention they also replaced the R.R. quarter skin. Give a call & ask to speak to John Crosby. They are located off Cross County rd. across from Frasier Tire.
