plans are 383 stroker motor maybe a little turbo .... should be plenty to keep up with that little black S-10 and maybe even :hail: Greg lol

hell that motor in its current setup dride will gap Greg. Doesn't really take much to do so.

I see it has vortec heads. Planning on keeping them? There great heads for the right set up.

heads look good
at the looks of it the motor just had a blown head gasket around cylinder 7

Told you you should have flipped that thing over. Look what happened. The heads fell off. Sheesh!

The heads do look pretty good. May want to check the bearings (if you weren't already planning to). If any of that coolant made it into the crankcase, that could spell nasty things for the bearings.

yea yea ... thats on my to-do list for this weekend

the motor was taken out of a 3500 van last year because it ran hot and overheated

was hoping for the worst when i got it but actually it looks like a head gasket which is surprising
