Sheppard Race Cars has proven themselves over and over again. 770-787-9760, ask for Chris and tell him Wes referred you. Atleast call and see what they have to say, there isn't a commitment in a phone call.

Made 17 passes and started taking things apart and making some small changes. It is all back together now and I am going to the track tomorrow to test with the little turbo and the new 295/55/15. I have an ORSCA race next weekend so I am trying to get ready for it.

Thats awesome Wes. I have been a huge fan of the drag radial scene since they started it in nmra. It is just amazing to see what can be done on those tires.

Yeah, I love radial. It's a tuners race which is what fascinates me the most anyway.

Darlington tomorrow. ORSCA race is in Montgomery, AL.

Yes. 275 Radial is perfect for SB NOS and is probably one of the fastest growing heads up classes out there right now. You should check it out. ORSCA also has a SB NOS only class. 440 cu in max, 28x10.5 or 275 radial, single plate only, have to weigh 3200 lbs. The class runs in the 5.30 range on average. It is a cool class, I almost built a car for it.

SB 275 class the rules vary a little because they are starting the series up in several different areas. You will have to check around on those.
Outlaw Radial the rules are pretty wide open. You don't have to weight much, lexan and all that is legal, and sheet metal intakes are legal along with canted valve heads.
You could also run the class I am running. ORSCA EZ Street. It would be between the other two classes. SB NOS with sheet metal intakes are legal, and you run on either a 325/50/15, 295/55/15, or the 275 with a weight break. This class is in the 4.80-4.90 range.

Wes, what was the drag radial race in Georgia a couple of weeks ago, where they were running 5 flat in the 275 drag radial class? All I know is they were flying on a 275 tire..

That was Extreme 275. Sorda an Outlaw 275 class for the cars that were too slow for Outlaw Radial and didn't fit the rules of the regular 275 class.
