i need to borrow a heater to heat up the bearings to install them in my rear end. The one that you sit the bearings on and turn it on to make it easier to install. anyone got one i can use for a few days?

I've never heated bearings to install them on a rearend, just press them on. Not sure I've ever heard of a bearing heater...a hot plate, yes, for some small stuff that's hard to press w/o tearing up.

They make a cone shaped heater for building rear ends. You can put the bearing and the ring gear on it. I only used one to heat the ring gear up for easy installation. I just press the bearings on.
