Might help more if you state the year of the F250. I think some may have came with them from the factory depending on the year.

Some years do. I have driven one with a integrated brake, but I can't recall the year. It was a F-250 Diesel, if that matters.

Mine did not have the factory controller but it did have all the wiring for it. I bought an aftermarket controller and pluged it into the factory harness. 2006 5.4

very new trucks do.

i do not "think" the plug under the dash for a Dodge & a ford are the same,
or else the better brake controllers would come with that standard plug on them.

you will just have to look & seek.

i think Advance has them cheap ($50?)

I can tell you that it is a piece of shit. You would be better off installing your aftermarket controller. I have had them on my last 3 Fords and they do not work like they should.
I just put a Tekoshima (SP?) P3 in my new truck and it works awesome.

those are the best controllers on the market right now, you can pretty much mount them at any angle, they have a lot of nice features

idk about the fords, but the GM interrigated controller is a complete POS also

The best electric brake controller that I have ever seen is the Brakesmart. It has a pressure transducer that tees in to you brake line and varies brake coil current in direct proportion to the actual brake line pressure. You just set the strength setting and it does the rest. No gain or delay effects are noticeable at all. One setting pretty much does the job whether your trailer is loaded or empty.
