What's up with that place? I have always wondered about it, but never heard anything. It doesn't look like anything has moved in the general area for years... thats a big building to be doing nothing with...

He is retired I think. He used to come by the shop. I bought some bio diesel from him out there once.

there's a half closed shop on Miles Jamison road too.

and Jamison's doesn't look busy, but been there for years.

i worked at a Corvette shop in Omaha, his Dad started it,
and he had NEW grills, hoods, chrome trim, in the box from day one.

crazy.

an Ebay dealer came out, and bought stuff out of the chicken coop (yes, it was)
it was full of "small engine bay parts" per the owner: carbs, exhaust manifolds,
bolts, nuts, air cleaners, some intakes, valve covers.

we don't know what he got, but he paid us $8000 in folding money, and drove away.
and we were happy.

he spent several days picking stuff out, and was in there with a pad, a pencil, a calculator, and several reference books checking part numbers.

You ever been in the building? I am curious as to what he has in that big ass shop. I can't remember a time I have ever seen a car out there that wasn't beat to hell.

He's kinda become a hoarder. Mr. Jamison has tried to buy some stuff from him in the past, but he doesn't want to come off of anything or for anything less than a small fortune. I guess the dog agility business is good.

His name is Ed Causey.
He used to sell parts from his present location & also hit all the big flea markets & shows.
Such a carlisle,pa, charlotte motor speedway & many other shows.
He had a huge trailer with an awning that was a major seller of corvette parts.
I used to own many corvettes, 56,57,62,62,65,78 & 95 and every one of those vehicles had water leaks. Beat more cars with that 62, but times have changed unless you get a Z06 or the 600+blown vet.
The bodies have always been problems i hope the newer vettes are less trouble free than the older ones.
History for what its worth
