Thank you to all in the armed forces for fighting for our country. Thank you for doing what I cannot. Lest we forget what memorial day is truely about. Just an FYI-it has nothing to do with burgers, boats, and beer.

I am a Veteran and work with/train the Army on a daily basis. It makes you proud to see all of the selfless dedication all of our branches put forth everyday! Its posts like this and comments like these that keep them motivated and focused on the job at hand.

I am glad that even almost 10 years after 9/11, there is still a VERY STRONG Patriotic sentiment among Americans as a whole. This is something that WWI, Korean War, Vietnam War and some WWII Veterans never had the privelage of experiencing.

Just a little side note here..............Obama wanted all of us Veteran's to pay for our own Medical Insurane after we got out!............I'm talking about those of us that have Service Connected Injuries...........wounded from enemy fire etc ....or just where you were injured, had surgery and have a disability from it. In the past and hopefully the future we were covered for the rest of our lives from such injuries. Obama basicially pointed out that it is a volunter force and that no one forced us to go to war. :?

Yep, he said if we were patriotic and wanted to help our country and its economy, we should be more than happy to do so by paying for our own health care and not make the VA compensate us for our permanent disabilities incurred during our service.

I think it should be a pre-requisite that a man has to serve at least one term in the military before he is able to run for President! That will eliminate 90% of the fktards from ever getting into the Oval Office.
