Ha sort of. Smacked a curb pretty hard and it tore up my rim bent the control arm and deployed the airbags so yeah it suckedd

nothing i ain't done.
problem was, it was the ONLY car we had, with a baby, and the dealer took 2 weeks to fix it.
just replace the parts, and pay more attention next time.
LKQ should have everything you need.
no big deal.

did it mess up your torque box also? You need to watch out, those v6 mustangs have tons of power man

ah, go easy on him.
he's in high school, sporting a drop top mustang.
i wish i had a V6 in high school
i had a 56 F-100,
my mom paid to tow it home
and my dad paid to get it running.
it was horribly UNCOOL
about 5 diff colors.
him & his buddy came over and bought that black prelude off me.
is that prelude still running?
if you have not been to LKQ, LMK and i can take you.
take your tool box and your patience.
i carry ~$500 worth of dewalt when I go in,
they get a kick out of all my battery powered tools.

I am serious. Did you mess up your torque box also? That was a serious question especially if he smacked a curb and needs a lower control arm now

I may have a pair that was taken off one of the cars that we have done here at the house if the 8.8 has the same ones

Is it the front one? Shouldn't have blow the airbags, if it hit the rear. Probably bent more than the control arm, if it was the front.

Then make sure you didn't bend anything else. Those control arms are pretty stout. It may have a bent strut/strut tower and possibly a k-member shoved over. Guess it's time to get the '85 road worthy.

dean looked at it and said the control arm is the only thing that looks bent
