View Full Version : Got the recall done today and it sure is UGLY!!!

I made my appointment today at my local Ford dealership to have the cruise control recall performed. It would have been quick, but I was having them check something else out while I was there. When I got it back I couldn't believe how ugly this thing is. Ford could have done a lot better with the appearance of this thing. I'm sure I'll be able to tuck it away somewhere and cover it in black loom and electrical tape. Check it out...

Yeah it also reduces weight. :D I'm gonna hang onto it just in case I want to take a long trip somewhere...

I just got my recall today.

Cheap ass ford just puts a fuse in the circuit, rather than replace the faulty componet.
What fails the switch on the master cylinder?? or the cruise servo??

Since my 2003 still is under factory extended warranty will they replace the faulty part & then also do the recall??

I'll find out next week, when i take it to jones ford, Bill
