Welcome. This board is a tight knit like s14.5 said. But it does good for what it is.

Sounds good. Coming from small town Texas, I prefer tighter knit to gobs of people. Although it is weird being the new guy haha. I've got at least four years here, so I'll do what I can to fit in.:cheers

Well since you are the new guy, I will give you a hint. Just our little secret. If you really want to fit in and not be considered the new guy you have to randomly pick 4 members of this board and take them to YOKOSO for drinks and dinner. BUT they must not all be the same brand owner of vehicle that you have.

I will nominate JOE for the GM crowd as he has gapped the unicorn

Funny thing... The first people to tell me about the Summerville meet, I talked to outside of Yokosos. Yep, a guy in a black Ws6 and a red or orange one there with him.
Hey, I'm all for it as soon as the Navy finance department finally starts paying me my rank lol. Hopefully soon. I'll get around to it. Until then I'll just park on the other side of the lot haha.

Thanks. The only Hibachi places I've been to are Yokosos, the place off of river's by the Sports Authority and Applebees, and some place in Rhode Island where we did a lot of Saki bombs and got in a lot of trouble haha. Where is Wasabi's?

Ever heard of Athens, TX. It's close to Tyler if you kinda know the area, however if not, it's close to Dallas. I'm from East Texas.

Yeah... Kinda lol. I was a nuke, I finished the training pipeline, but then I got picked up for a commissioning program. So now I'm a Citadel student (not a cadet though) for three years after which, I will go back to being a nuke...

Sweet, I was born in Houston and spent alot of my career in Corpus Christi in the Mineforce. Got orders back to the Creek for the Mineshop accross the street from the Nuke buildings in the ordnance side. Good luck in school! Hoping I pick up E7 this time and results should be out in a few months. -Shane

Nice, thanks. Good luck making Chief! I was an EM2. I'm hoping to stay away from the nuke world as much as I can until they make me go back haha. SSS doesn't really help though... The place across the street always looked so ominous with its gates and fences and all that military stuff lol. Our base is more like a college campus.Y'all must do some pretty cool stuff over there.

Doesnt feel cool...we play with alot of big bombs....other than that....boring. Sea duty is much cooler but after it has beat me down and always does it really really sucks. Cant wait for shore duty again...6 months....
