It sounds like awesome idea..but at the same time would be a disaster for the owner in this day of ricers and mouth breathers.
In theory:
A car would roll up..get on a lift to put an exhaust on, then roll over to dyno and be out in a day.
In reality:
So many detards would take their cars there to install their 800$ Ebay turbo kit, put it on a lift and have it sit for 2-3 weeks because they were unprepared financially and mentally to get it done.

You had me at "mouth breathers."
Probably an accurate assesment. If you've ever seen the Air Base Auto shop, it could be twice as bad.

Kind of the same thing as Darnells Garage in the movie Christine. But, I don't think Darnell had a dyno.....

Butt dyno, desktop dyno. You know, the "My civic outran a semi, so you know it runs-like-12's 'n' shit. (In the 1/8)" type of dyno.

When you want to take a break from working on your car, you can always walk down the street and buy some crack.

Sounds like an auto hobby shop on base. They work just fine but the Miitary foots the bill for the most part.

The military hobby shops are awesome. Beats the hell out of crawling around on the ground in the driveway.

I like the idea. I'm still looking for somewhere I can steam clean and POR-15 the Jeep chassis.
