You will hate yourself when you need to remove it down the road. I removed one from a benz about 2 years ago and it took me almost 7 hours with a steam cleaner and some acetone.

In hindsight, I should have used Kevin's guy. The Audi was a tough gig.

Dont put anything but the 3M brand on the car Chris. I have it on my car and I can tell you right here and now, it has saved the paint on my car more than a 100 times. It was pretty expensive but like you said, it is better than the alternative.

There is a guy in West Ashley that installs something similar to the 3M product but its not the same (name slips me) but it is not as good as the 3M (not as thick, discolors, has half the warranty and is KNOWN to be a much larger problem when removing).

The only 3M installer around these parts is in Hilton Head. I know because I have to get mine replaced due to the knicks that are in it from I-26. I just need to get off my lazy ass and file my claim so I can get it redone. You can go to 3M's site and look for "3M Clear Bra" and you will see and read about it.

My car has
Nose, headlights, foglights, rocker panels, mirrors, 36" up the hood, rear hatch and bumper cover where it meets the hatch. If you would like to see it, you are more than welcome to, just let me know.

If you come out of the Hamlets to the stop light and go straight across, take your first right next to Quoizel and follow it to the culdesac, thats where I work (AAI Textron Systems). What time are you usually heading home?

Its not quite a "warehouse", its a two story building with lots of one way mirrored glass. But, yes, there is a camera on every light pole and every corner of the roof. Might even be a couple in the pine trees............. just sayin'

We used this guy for a Jamison's customer some years ago. Did an outstanding job. You can also call Kerry Jamison and ask him about it if you need another opinion.
