The next project.

I decided to just keep the lightning. So I told my GF she could have whatever she wanted that I allready had. I just got this S-10 from my dad. It has a 400 sbc with vortec heads and a small cam that I built for him a long time ago for a K5 4x4 blazer. It didnt run very well in the blazer, but I built a motor just like it for a 86 full size gmc pick up for Jesse. It run fairly good. It went a 8.40 with the same set up that was in the blazer. Well she didnt want the
S-10. Its a long bed and she doesnt like it. He never got the motor running in the S-10 either. She wants my Elcamino. So Im going to take the motor out of the S-10 and put it in the Elcamino. Here are a few pics of what Im starting with.

Little update on this project. I found something else I wanted. So I sold the S-10 motor and all. I bought this for the motor and trans. It has a 454 and a th400. I found it up in greenville when I had to take my brothers motor back to the builder. When I went back up there to get the motor I brought this back with me. It wouldnt fit on the trailer so we put my brothers truck on the trailer with his motor in the back of it. It was a bit risky. The truck had been sitting for 2 years. But it was fun. We turned a 4 hour trip into a 6 hour trip. It had a nice little shake to it a speed and it would dart to the left when you steped on the brakes. Couldnt see for crap behind me because of the mirrors, but I fixed that:mrgreen:. The drivers window was shot out by the guys son. But the radio worked. Anyway injoy the picks. Oh yea all I want is the motor and trans. If you see anything you want. Just let me know. LXtasy if you want the S-10 body. A friend of mine bought it just for the motor.

He's not sure. I could just bring it next time im up there. Money would be best. You do know its a long bed? I'll ask him about it tomorow.

Long bed is fine. I am not picky on that. Just don't want an xcab.
