Just curious to see who likes to go where?
I vote for Sweatmans (holly hill) as the best tasting food hands down. Just looking for some input on yal's opinions!

Music Man and Dukes have been my favorite. I will settle for Bessingers when I need a fix.

Sweatmans is good and I also enjoy Dukes in Hollywood. They are both good in my book. The one one hwy 78 isn't bad either. Can't remember the name.

When Im referring to Dukes Im always talking about the on in Ridgeville. That place is a dump but the food is the best.
You guys want some good bbq? If you ever get the opportunity to attend a traditional Hawaiian luau you must go. That hog is the best Ive ever had.

Terry O'Quinn owns the one in Walterboro and is opening the one on James Island. Should be open in 3 weeks. Dukes is my choice.

Usually make it myself and add Bessingers mustard base sauce. For ketchup base, I like Sweet Baby Rays original.

We like Kelly's. They are also very close friends of ours. We also like Dukes in Ridgeville, but the one in Walterboro is better, much more choices on the line. Mooses is ok, but not high on our list.

Home Team in West Ashley has some good brisket, for the area at least. And a nice hot bbq sauce.
The BBQ Joint on Montague is pretty good too. Wed is rib day, and Thur is brisket. Gotta try the XXX sauce, will make you sweat.
Bessingers is ok. Only been to the buffet side though on Fri and Sat night to get ribs. Their sauce selection sucks though.

The place on montague is pretty good. I have only had their sandwhich. The flavor was good, but the pork was too finely cut for my liking.

Never eaten at this one...but I do know that all the basic BBQ recipes from the bessinger's (Joe, robert's Maurice etc) and family started from Joe's in Holly Hill. All with distinct flavors from each.
