Ok your post was a little difficult to read I need my decoder ring. Im assuming your truck stopped running, and caught on fire and all that good stuff?

Could be due to the 2# upper 8# lower and no Maf extender?

What area of the truck is the oil coming from? Usually thats not a good sign. It usually means you threw a rod if the oil is coming fron the motor area. Not good. Get with Mike and Mitch to see if they cant help you diagnose your problem. If all else failes Mithc has a direct lne to JDM and can get you a new motor for a small fee.

yeah thats what im afraid of i know oil is not a good sign and neither is a slightly bent oil dipstick. i think the fire melted the wires to the trans and thats why i could get it in park.

yeah talked to mike. i tryed to watch the oil pressure and it stayed up. the weird thing is the trans wont go into gear. my tow truck boss is taking it to his trans guy just incase.

Check the lower part of the block by the starter for a small hole sounds like a major problem though Sorry to hear about it. PM me if you need anything to look for I let one go but it was easy to tell what happened to it all 8 rods let go. If I can help let me know just installed two JDM motors back to back Mitch P.S. I talk to JDM every week I can find the cost of a new motor they aren't cheap but Good The holes in block not a good sign but you will be faster. Good Luck!! Mitch

You better not let John see that, better yet you better delete powerstroke all together.

Sorry to hear about your motor. Did I read it correctly that you do have a hole in the block?

When Bill's motor blew up What we did as I am speaking from the Mechanic side is, Look at the price of a long block stock! Daryl and Bill were already pushing the limits on stock Internals So we priced the Engines x 2 and figured that if you want to go fast and feel like you are safe go with a great company and buy complete built if not the Stock NEW Engine is going to end up just like the first one blown up Jason just proved that. Then you will have more money in it then the built Motor. So my advice as the Mechanic is step back see where you want to go and what your goals are with the truck, I can tell you a lot about the options and can even do the install I'm sure if I call JDM we can come up with a custom built to fit your need's I'm getting to know all of them fairly well. I live in Goose Creek Cell # is 696-7004 Please do not call Thursday Dyno day will be a Nerve rattling day and busy. Look forward to talking to and meeting you!! Mitch.

If you have this money tree, then it sounds like a good time to get the GT supercar aluminum block, of course that would be around $4300 for the bare block after having it machined, for the starter and wetsump( but you will be 80lbs or so lighter up front). I think the 900 hp capable version of the MMR short block runs right just a little more than that.

White lightnings are nothing but trouble and money buckets. Every lightning is but the white ones just piss you off enough to want to sell the damn things

Thats something new to me. Never heard of that. Maybe the guy wont know how the hole in your block got there. well anyways goodluck with the truck.... all of these JDM engines are around this group. You should try a different one and see what happens. But JDM is very dependable from what I have seen around the screets

SVENSONJR
08-23-2007, 03:59 PM
I called them out to see what they could do. The guy could not get under it. So he is waiting for it to get to a shop and on a lift. But knows it has a blown motor and hasnt said anything about it.
