For the person on SVTPerformance who asked what the V6 was running, 9.36 @ 77 on the 1st run with Shaun. Best time of the night was 9.29 @ 77. Had a 9.31 @ 77 also. A little consistent on the 77mph lol.

Ive seen from several different places at least in the GT that there can be a 20rwhp difference between a brand new engine and an engine with some miles on it. I doubt the v6 would have that much of a difference but its worth asking.

There may be some truth to this statement. My '05 picked up after it had a couple thousand miles on it. And... The air got worse at that time. I bought the car in April. It was June/July before I started running mid 13's in the quarter. Was 13.8-13.9; then, like someone flipped a switch, it was 13.4-13.6.

The v6's are standard with 2.73. Optional 3.31. The way that v6 car took off it looked like traction control was on and it had 2.73's. Both drivers looked like tools. Put Tara behind the wheel of a manual 3.31 car and the results would have been much different. (crying GT owner)

BUT if i had an 05-10 GT and i was only beating auto 2.73 v6 11's by a car. Id be pissed. I will say that her car doesnt 60 foot worth a crap because it has no bottom end grunt. It pulls like crazy on the top end, pretty much all the way to 7k. If she can get some better tires on the car and launch the car in its power band with out blowing the little 225 tires off. Then like zac said i see no reason this bone stock V6 cant be in the 8's.

Edit: I just read through the comments and yest that was a 2.73 rear ended v6.
