Is this shift kit w/tranny pan easily done by myself? or am I going to have to take it to get installed. I have access to a lift just making sure its not that difficult.

I've had no personal experiance but i hear its not that hard with the correct tools. You will need a in/lbs tourqe wrench and a ft/lbstourqe wrench .

No its one of the easier mods, well easier than a lower pulley, I did it using the stock jack and laying on my back I did drill the stock oil pan to drain the oil tho,the hardest part is making sure to unbolt the right VB its the front passenger side block.
I had detailed instructions that came with my FTVB, and it was pretty easy.

Thanks Mike, did it make a big difference?

My first mod was the FTVB. You definitely feel it shift harder.
