step one,, make sure the flanges are still straight,, mine distorted after the jet hot coating, no biggy, they just sent me a new one three days later

they are for an old cuda i got. Challenger is being retired from the track. last time out it almost became friends with the wall. plus its too heavy

I had a set of those Jet Hot headers on my old GN........it's amazing how much heat they keep out of your engine compartment. I liked them.

a 67 cuda but i lost all my pics during a computer meltdown a few weeks ago and the car is in pieces now

Nice. Just watch any kind of nitrous. Mine flaked off with the shiny coating and when I sent them back the recoated them with a Jethot 2000 coating that is almost a battleship gray color, and it hasnt flaked yet..They do look like a pain in the ass to put on..:bigthumb:

Back in the day I had a 67 Fairlane, bought some headers and took them to an exhaust shop. They would not put the headers on, only would complete the rest of the exhaust system after the headers were already on. I was puzzled about this until I put them on myself...............pain in the ass. I was young at the time and did not know this................lesson learned. They were long tube headers BTW.
