mustang radio

my radio went out in my 99 mustang gt. does anyone have one laying around. it is not one of the large ford ones it is thinner with a tape deck in it. the cd player is seperate. if anyone has one let me know

it's hard to find a GOOD radio in the configuration you need

LKQ and Cl are full of radios, but they are Mach, non-mach, buttons missing, wore out.

guys wanted $100 for a nice radio they had taken out when new.

it was easier for me to put in a MP3 deck with a remote for $99 than to fight with the MACH system

you can put ~100 MP3's on one CD, get RDS, a remote, and a lot more that did not exist back then. plus, you get a cubby hole where the CD player was :)

i am thinking about going radio shopping soon. i am not going to put a cubby in, instead i am going to add a few gauges to that spot. just was kind of hoping maybe someone on here had one just laying around. it would be a little simpler for now.
