I'm guessing that's the brake caliper on the floor.

Yup gotta grind a little bit of material off the back of the caliper to get 15" wheels to fit over Lightning brakes. I got a set of modified brake bracket which moved my calipers in a 1/4". Some just grind off that extra 1/4" of material off of the calipers.

I had to do alot of grinding on my calipers to make 15" rims fit on my car also. It sucked. I hated to take off material on the calipers.

I understood it, but then again, I took half of my caliper off with a grinder. ha

Wheels look good Chris. You are building one heck of a show truck! :laugh2:

Hey do you still have your stock brakes?

Or anyone else have some stock rear camaro calipers. Got a little rx7 project that could use some.

I think someone swapped in a SN95 rear to do the 5 lug conversion. The whole rearend is wider than normal. The front has 2001 GT brakes also.
