I still didn't see any major incidences unless it happened while I was making my way to the staging lanes. Also the track was only shut down for 15 minutes or so the entire day due to clean up of antifreeze that cause a car to lose control around the 60'. They also had to push the blue mustang back off the track.

There you go. We can all talk about one track or another being good or bad. But, I you and Marcus don't like Bowman, By all means don't go. I don't care for the ramp style barricades they have there also. But, for the most part, It is better than Dorchester.

I hate how all the brothers park behind you to were you cant get out of the parking lot to get to the staging lanes. Then you have to listen to all of them hollering and smell the dope there smoking. I dont understand why they dont park the spectators on the spectator side and leave the pits just for the racers. Oh and keep the god damn crowds away from the staging lanes. A couple of cops there to keep an eye on things, an ambulance and some sort of fire department representation there just in case wouldn't be a horrible idea either.

I think the track itself is the best part about Bowman.

Bowman's barricades are dangerous in my opinion and they can potentially act as ramps for a fast enough car. With that said, I have never had an issue with my turtle not going straight at Bowman. I even run two tenths quicker out there than at Dorchester.

I have only cut a few 1.5-1.6 60's at Dorchester, but never went slower than a 1.6 at Bowman. I would like to race a bowman more, but its just more convenient to drive to Dorchester and back.

You would think with $15/car and $10/head that Dorchester would make some improvements. It wouldn't take much to make that track a lot nicer.

Truck wont run on race gas for some reason. It only likes shit pump gas when I have enough of it on board. I did buy som c16 a few months ago but cant use it until the tune is dialed in. I dont about now but i know last time i was at bowman my car(which is a all out grudge car but goes WAY faster than most of these numbers yall are saying) and had no problem making the trip or stopping(which it didnt like it without an parachute)! i would love to see the track get wider and have more shut down room and it would be the perfect outlaw/grudge track! I personally dont like dorchester and if you ask me its no better than my home track(silver, clarendon county dragway). the difference if you ask me is the width if Bowman woulde widen the track it would be the place to race! Now this is just my opinion which dont mean im right or wrong

While we got you here reading this thread is it at all possible to have the spectators start parking on the other side of the track? It doesnt bother me that they walk over but the parking congestion has gotten worse and worse since Ive been coming there. I hate it when you walk away and somebody parks behind you and blocks you in or you go to the staging lanes to race and somebody parks in your spot where all your expensive gear and stock wheels are sitting. Also reducing the amount of spectators in the staging lanes and near the starting line would be ideal and reduce the chances of Bowman being compared to Dorchester.

you wouldnt even really need to take the concrete out the entire 8 feet, if you added 2 foot of track to each side then 2 foot of grass, with the correct wall on the outside it would be a very noticeable difference
