out orangeburg way?
Safe-lite said they will pay Hometown direct for fixing the small scratch on my fender from the windshield install
sounds like a local shop, but I usually have better luck there, ??

oh, i don't care where i take it, long as they aren't idiots.
i asked for recommendations on here long ago for some work, and Bennett P&B was recommended.
they are up past BDD's house in the boonies.

That's where safelite had my sail panel painted after they installed the glass too high and broke it(my 2001). I told them 3 times the panel had to be black. What did they do? They painted it RED!
When it was finally redone black, it looked okay. It could have been better, but I wasn't going to be too picky as I was selling the car.

I got work done on my Charger there and he did a good job with a good turn around time too.

took the truck out to him today.
talked to him about what I wanted, what i could afford, and what actually made sense.
he explained everything, and said since i wanted so much done (door dings & stuff) he would take care of me.
good guy, he says word of mouth is really the way he gets business, so he tries to take care of folks

Chris is an awesome guy, and his quality is fabulous, my truck looks GREAT.
downside: he is so good, he is BUSY...
when I dropped my truck off, he was in between another job, and I don't think I communicated well what i wanted done, he was busy, and I saw that, and I should have wrote it down.
he has a big single page work order for your info, and I even went in and wrote on it...but i goofed up and did not list the work & prioritize it, and did not put a ballpark price I wanted to be at.
I should have written them down and prioritized them. as much as we sit in front of computers now, i coulda wrote up in WORD what i wanted, stapled that to the order, and it would have been perfect.
bottom line:
my truck looks great, and he made me a deal on the price of the work.
he WILL get all my work in the future.
