Hey guys, my name is Wes and I just got stationed out here. I brought my '99 Eclipse GSX with me. My car is pretty fun to drive around as it is always fun to have over 450 AWHP. I don't know what my car runs on the strip since I built this engine just before moving here and didn't have time to play in CA. The stock engine ran 12.8s with 300AWHP.
I'm not strictly an import guy, my other car is a 1971 GMC Sprint (El Camino) that I had to leave in storage in CA. It just didn't make sense to drive the car that gets 10mpg across the country.
Here are some pictures of my car.

Welcome man, is that one of those DSM's... Lol..
Nice GSX by the way, I've had a few, but all 1g's.
I'll guess a PTE 50trim, DSMlink and ACT 2600..maybe some eagles/wiseco in there. Any where close?

In the engine bay pic that is a PTE 50trim but the current setup and numbers are with an 8 blade HX-35 in a .55 A/R Bullseye housing. The car is tuned on DSMlink V3, for a clutch I did have a 2600 but recently upgraded to a PTT twin disk. As for internals it is a 2.3l with an eagle crank, manly rods, and wiseco pistons. So yeah you were pretty damn close.

Wow, there are a lot of cool cars and trucks on this forum. I can pretty much talk all kinds of crap I can't back up right now since the car is running but has a bent drive shaft so until I replace it I am stuck under 60 MPH.
Thanks for the welcome guys.

6-bolt swap too or you keep the 7-bolt in there?

It has a 6-bolt in it now.
I'm fine with everyone knowing exactly what I have. I've always been into racing just for the fun of it. I've never been one to hustle people or anything like that.

Another Cali transplant! Hey now you dont have to worry about a smog cert for that DSM (provided you actually had the Cali reg on it) and all that! Where in CA are you coming from?
Welcome to the site/area!

I'm from Los Angeles and I'm really happy to no longer have to worry about CA smog laws. Although the car did just get registered so I am leaving it with the cali tage for now.
And so far in my experience stock Z06s gap me from a roll but a regular vette is usually behind me.

carl has a regular vette not a zo6. you might want to fix that axle first.
