I havent really been looking for a new job, but one sort of fell in my hand today and im happy for it. O'reilly is not the company to work for to say the least. I won't talk trash about them as they employed me for the last two years, at nearly the same pay wage but with increasingly more responsibility......Well today I had an interview at Parks in Moncks Corner and i am starting there monday. I am gonna check into a discount for the CHP crowd but im not gonna step on toes first thing in. just figured id let yall know whats going on and why i wont be at o'reillys after thursday. O and here is my new tow rig

good deal
just make you leave on good terms, and like you said, don't step on too many toes
never know what can happen in the future.
as for pay, i just don't think there is enough margin on parts, because there are so many discount parts places, they can't afford to pay big money, and still try to undercut each other on price.
if you were there two years, you got some good experience, showed some responsibility, and moved on when it was time.
most jobs don't last forever.
what happened to your Tahoe?

Happy for you on the new job and truck. Personally wouldn't buy anything from Park's. Use to work for them part time for them in Goose Creek 15 or so years ago. Good luck.

Tyler,
I wish you the best at Parks. The only reason I ever bought anything from O'Reilly's was/is because of you. I have never seen a discount there either when I told them CHP unless you gave me one the other day. Every purchase I can remember, the sales slip had the same pricing as marked on the shelf where the product came from.
